Job Description:
Responsibilities: Process incoming telephone calls with service providers for claim approval with demonstrated proficiency in multiple trades Review and negotiate claim approvals to ensure that materials costs and diagnosis are equitable and within the established guidelines and standards Auditing claims via the teams GCR to ensure they are accurately captured and recorded into the database Accurately capture and record claim information into the database Using company guidelines and knowledge of Cinch contracts to determine appropriate claim decision. Meet or exceed all established Key Performance Indicators. Other duties and project work as assigned Qualifications: Proper phone etiquette Ability to speak and write clearly and accurately Demonstrated proficiency in typing and grammar Knowledge of relevant software computer applications and equipment Knowledge of customer service principles and practices Effective listening skills Multi-tasking capabilities Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships; Possesses, acquires, and maintains the technical/professional expertise required to do the job effectively and to create effective customer solutions; Technical/professional expertise is demonstrated through problem solving, applying technical knowledge Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time Position requires use of headset/microphone Education/Experience/Other Requirements: HSD/GED Minimum one (1) year experience in a high-volume customer service environment with warranty or insurance claims experience preferred OR strong mechanical aptitude or technical troubleshooting. Experience within HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, pool or spa related business, or maintenance background is desired. Strong knowledge of claims setup, Authorizations, vendor network and purchasing processes (in-house process) Strong data entry and typing skills Strong oral and written communication Problem solving and negotiating skill Strong customer service and organizational skills Experience Microsoft Office Suite Ability to perform in a fast pace environment with minimal direct supervision ?Preferred: Certification in home appliance maintenance Certification in HVAC processes
