Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Install new HVAC equipment including, but not limited to… • Duct Work • Attic Splits (gas or heat pump) • Vertical Splits (gas or heat pump) • Rooftop Package Units (gas or heat pump) • Light Commercial • Misc. projects Teach an apprentice the skills required to become a Lead Installer, such as: • Installation practices & applications • Customer Service • Accessories Sales • Paperwork Required Knowledge, Abilities & Skills: • RETRO-FIT HVAC Installations • Horizontal Split Systems • Vertical Split Systems • Rooftop Package Units • Duct Work • Basic Diagnostics • High/Low Volt • Refrigerant • Airflow • Start-up Procedures/Requirements • Charging • Basic Airflow Set-up • 2-Stage testing (gas or heat pump) • Customer Service Skills • Daily Interaction • Accessory Sales Job Requirements: • 2-3 yrs as a RETRO-FIT HVAC Lead Installer • EPA certification. • Clean DMV record. • Can pass background check and drug test. • Professional appearance and great attitude. Minimum Tool Requirements: •Basic Hand Tools i. Wrenches ii. Screwdriver / Nut Drivers iii. Sheet Metal / Duct Tools iv. Hammer •Testing Equipment I. Refrigerant Gauges ii. Manometer iii. Magnahelic iv. C/O Detector v. Physcrometer vi. Micron Gauge
