Job Description:
Job Description Summary: Manages Sales operations. Utilizes human resources effectively to increase business, manage workload, achieve production, increase sales growth, achieves margin objectives and provide training to comfort consultants. Duties may include, but not limited to the following: •Manages and develops the Sales staff, which includes hiring, terminating and disciplining of employees and setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling and training employees, completing time sheets, evaluating performance and directing work assignments to ensure effective production. • Evaluates scheduling needs in a way that best utilizes Sales staff and maximizes productivity. • Manages daily sales activities to ensure that proper procedures and guidelines are in place and followed for provision of quality installations and services. • Manages sales functions to ensure implementation and compliance with appropriate office procedures • Interfaces with homeowners, building inspectors and project managers to identify installation needs and maintain good customer relations. • Drive to job sites • Generates reports and measures of departmental operations. Reviews reports with management. • Evaluates staff to determine training requirements. Provides on-the-job training and support to employees. • Stays in touch with Sales staff to assist with unexpected needs. • Reviews payroll records to ensure that Sales staff are paid properly. • Participates in sales generation by actively seeking new business and assisting in the creation of sales material and training sessions. May provide ongoing sales training to staff. • Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area. • Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform work to include, but not limited to the following with or without reasonable accommodation: • Must be physically able to operate computers, calculators, copy machines, facsimile machines and other general office equipment. • Extensive use of computer monitor, keyboard and calculator is required. • Must have the ability to operate a Company vehicle with good DMV record and travel throughout the Los Angeles service area.
