Job Description:
Are you an experienced HVAC Installer tired of saying to yourself, "I can do much better than the person giving me direction"? Are you an experienced HVAC Installer ready to mentor and teach others? Are you an experienced HVAC Installer with leadership skills that are being left untapped? If you answered "Yes" to all of these questions, Southland AC has an opportunity for you! Southland Heating and Air Conditioning, Newbury Park, California, is looking for an experienced HVAC install manager ready to lead a group of HVAC installers that do not want to be good, but want to be GREAT. GREATNESS is our goal and we won't stop until we reach it. Function: Monitor and implement company processes and procedures Build an install department second to none! Set and achieve department and individual installer goals Mentor and coach installers on best ways to install systems Mentor and coach installers on customer service Conduct on-going training Create training documents and procedures Set and monitor goals for each individual installer Maintain all documentation for each install Troubleshoot and resolve/repair issues Constant learning via trade show attendance, seminars, suppliers and independent study Monitor quality control on all installs Record keeping Timesheets and overtime monitoring Equipment ordering and prep jobs for install Oversee installers/foreman/warehouse workers Coordinate with training manager on safety program and install training Required Experience: At least 5 years verifiable AC installation At least 2 year verifiable experience as residential HVAC install manager At least 2 years Mini-split/Ductless installation experience Must have valid CA Driver License with no DUIs and texting tickets Computer literacy Verifiable organization and dispatch skills Verifiable customer service skills Must be willing to work weekends and evenings as necessary Must be legally eligible to work in the United States Must be willing to undergo drug testing and background test upon hire Bilingual - Spanish - a plus Join our team and help us gain even more customer comments like this: "Such a breath of fresh air"--Matt B.
