Job Description:
Commercial HVAC Industry leader for over 35 years is currently seeking a Senior Service Technicians with 5 to 20+ years experience ( Up to Master Level) experience. Mission: “To help customers increase the return on their building investment.” Minimum Qualifications: Strong Communication Skills Strong Technical/Professional Skills High Quality Orientation Proven Customer Focus Appetite for Continuous Learning Must be a team player Must have Valid California Driver’s License and good driving record Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Successfully troubleshoots and services large building systems and controls including Mammoths, Boxcars, Boiler Systems, Lieberts and some Chiller systems Ability to work on boiler systems and troubleshoot hydronic controls and system issues; chemical treatment and water testing Ability to trace out complex electrical problems and make electrical modification on units of various sizes and levels of complexity Ability to work with various DDC control brands including monitoring, trouble shooting and light programming Ability to work with engineering in various trouble-shooting and design situations including airflow distribution, applied psychometrics and building pressure issues Ability to confidently learn and work on large scale equipment including: Large Chiller Systems Large Boiler Systems Pneumatic, Built up economizer systems Screw type compressors Centrifugal compressor knowledge Full knowledge of refrigerant cycle and the physics involved Troubleshoot and repair hermetic compressors Liebert certification desirable NATE or HVAC Excellence certification desirable We offer a competitive pay and a benefits package to include health, dental and life insurance; holiday pay, vacation and 401k.
