Job Description:
Mechanical Plumbing Detailer (San Diego) MB To coordinate plumbing, piping and sheet metal systems with electrical, fire protection and structural to meet UBC, UPC, UMC and all other applicable codes and standards. Create detailed shop and coordination drawings to be submitted for approval and to be used for construction by field employees from take off to as built. Ensure Detail team constructs projects in a timely manner with emphasis on accuracy and quality. Typical Duties: Detailing of plumbing, piping and duct systems including selection, ordering, spool drawings, cut tickets, scheduling of materials and methods as required by the blueprints, project requirements and specifications. Review equipment and material submittals to insure that all systems are being detailed and installed per approved submittals. Requires knowledge of "Microsoft XP operation system, word, excel, Microsoft projects, AutoCAD 2012 or newer, CADDUCT, CADMECH and Navisworks." Revit Experience a plus! Must be able to read and understand all contract documents including drawings, specifications, schedules and estimate scope of work. Must be able to communicate and work with project owners, architects, engineers, general superintendents, project managers, other trade detailers and job site foreman. Requirements & Working Conditions: Typical working conditions include: working at computer terminal for extended periods of time. Must be capable of working ten to twelve hour days when job/business needs demand. Must be able to work easily and skillfully with hands and fingers to manipulate objects within Auto CAD and other computer programs. Full Benefits. E.O.E
