Job Description:
Job Summary An HVAC Branch Service Manager leads a team of service technicians who work with heating, ventilation, Construction and air conditioning systems. The Branch service manager performs service duties and supervises and coordinates activities of workers to insure that all maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC equipment are properly completed in an efficient manner. The Branch Service Manager also is responsible for Directs and coordinates activities of one or more departments such as Service and/or Construction operations, or Sales, or major division of business organization, and aids chief administrative officers in formulating and administering organization policies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers. • Participates in formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating all Divisional department activities to develop and implement long range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives • Increases management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountability; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; provide educational opportunities • Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives • Builds company image by collaborating with customers and developing sound relationships with new customers in order to gain mutual benefits • Confers with chief administrative officer and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions • Reviews operations and plans to meet requirements for sales planning and to ascertain new customers or outsourcing requirements to develop new markets • Oversee daily operations of the service group to ensure all divisions are following proper safety procedures and working with service staff to increase sales and customer loyalty • Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis • Reviews and approves budgetary planning and implementation, production efficiency, financial reporting, budgetary planning and submittal for capital expenditures • Facilitates management and departmental meetings • Ensures that all service revenue grows
