Learn more at www.tombarrow.com HVAC Equipment Estimator Commercial HVAC material supplier in Atlanta, GA has an immediate opening for an estimator to provide inside technical support. Our goal is to effectively promote sales of HVAC equipment in the commercial construction market and to deliver unparalleled service to our customers. Day-to-day tasks would include assisting Outside Sales Engineers to provide timely estimates of HVAC material on commercial and industrial projects. Job Summary: • Review construction plans and specifications and generate material quotations from our comprehensive air-side product lines – everything from air distribution to custom air handling equipment. • Promote and support sales of HVAC equipment delivering unparalleled service to internal sales groups and external customers. Essential Functions: • Comprehension of construction plans and specifications • Ability to take-off lists of material from construction drawings using OST software • Accurately select equipment based on specifications provided by design engineer and cross reference material when we are not basis of design • Price equipment lists using manufacturer pricing software/data • Availability to collaborate with Sale Engineer to produce a strategic quotation • Distribute quotations to contractors in timely manner • Interactive communications with Sales, factory representatives and customer personnel to facilitate a timely, accurate, strategic quotation. • Stress Management: ability to focus and concentrate in a deadline driven environment. • Physical Requirements: mobility in an office environment, sitting at a workstation for much of the day, typing, visual acuity to view a computer monitor.
