Job Description:
The HVAC Program Manager, located in Jacksonville, FL, is a senior level management position requiring a high degree of independent decision making and professionalism. Within the authority delegated by the HVAC General Manager and Chief Operating Officer, this position will serve as a key company representative with primary P/L responsibility for all projects assigned under his/her care across multiple markets and geographic locations, and is expected to assume complete responsibility of all essential Client Relationship functions. Functions will include, but are not limited to systems, and techniques to improve project delivery, quality, and overall client satisfaction. Ideal candidate will also be required to assist the HVAC General Manager in the following duties: *Review and approve data submitted by staff for business development *Provide direct input for proposals, strategic plans, presentations and contract negotiations *Participates in final pricing of proposals by providing counsel and information pertaining to all HVAC aspects of the project. *Responsible for the quality of services provided by the HVAC Division in their relationship to corporate, other divisions, client representatives, and sub- contractors. *Develops annual operating plan and budget for the HVAC Division *Responsible for ensuring coordination with project controls to develop cost estimates, quantity takeoffs and manpower requirements for proposals, forecasts and change orders *Interact, present and negotiate with top-level managers at Client sites and develop quality relationships with assigned Clients to maximize new business development. *Resolve disputes and conflicts related to projects and continually evaluate and perform Quality Control functions for the Division. *Manage not only high-level HVAC personnel in the areas of Operations, Business and Field. But also oversee the daily operations of the HVAC Division *Attend technical and professional society meetings as needed Job Requirements: Advance knowledge of HVAC new and renovation construction, construction management, EPC, and design-build construction obtained through a combination of experience and education. Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering, Construction or relevant scientific discipline is desirable with minimum of 15 years of HVAC industry experience. Additional education in business administration and/or continuing education courses, and other professional and technical Candidates who poses the following may receive preferred consideration: Experience in working with multi-discipline trades Advanced Safety Training and OSHA 30 Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite, Timberline/Sage software Very well developed communication Skills (oral & written). HVAC Contractor’s License may be helpful.
