Job Description:
The Service Manager will be responsibilities will include, but not limited to managing training & safety programs, inventory/cost of goods, overall profitability, as well as motivating & inspiring all technicians. Qualifications: • Associates degree (business) • Successful completion of a trade/vocational school. • EPA Universal Certified. • Ability to work 50+ hours weekly • Valid driver’s license. • 10 years’ service experience specific to commercial, institutional, and industrial HVAC. • Well-versed in the use of Freon 22, 427A, 404, 408, 409, HP80 and 81, 134, and 12 as well as proper refrigerant recovery procedures. • Refrigeration experience such as: ice machines, walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, & rack systems. • Must have previous work experience within a hospital or health care area is required. • Strong knowledge of HVAC, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. • Knowledge of basic electricity and electrical and control systems. • Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics. • Physically able to climb ladders and to lift objects up to fifty pounds. Job Duties: * Build strong customer relationships; build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations. * Review prior day(s) jobs for quality of service & profitability * Oversee all customer equipment via SSI software system * Complete inventory/warehouse counts completed approx. every 90 days * Recognize & assist Sales team with sales opportunities * Stay current with customers account balance via bookkeeper weekly report * Assist technicians with estimates, submit and seek written approval asap. * Order all parts, tools, and supplies for your assigned area via PO process * Oversee all vehicle maintenance & repairs, address speeding and/or driving issues * Oversee and address all appearance and uniform needs * Participate in dispatch on-call rotation (approx.) every six weeks
