Job Description: Warehouse Associate ____________________________________________________________ Department: Administration Location: All FLSA: Non-exempt Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor Approved by: Revision Date: 11/15/2018 Effective Date: Summary: • Warehouse general duties such as, pull orders, make pick-ups and deliveries, and maintain warehouse & property cleanliness. Scrap copper, make traps, cut floor tile & conduct inventories. Some out of town work. Eventually join an on-call rotation. Essentials Duties • Picking up parts from vendors • Pull orders and conduct inventories • Receiving freight deliveries • Delivering parts to Service Technicians • Standard warehouse duties and property maintenance • Staying out of town 1-3 days at most, setting up jobsite trailers or picking up jobs. • 24-hour on call delivery rotation, once a month on average, twice a month on occasion • Document all Freon orders in the Freon Log • Sort scrap copper, cut floor tiles, and make copper traps • Supervise laborers on jobsites or warehouse (when required) • Other duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications: • Clean and safe driving record • Ability to lift 50 LBs or more • Ability to read and fill orders without error • Excellent written and verbal communications • Able to follow verbal directions • Work well with team and independently • Basic computer skills • Fork & scissor lift experience Supervision • Works under direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor. This position only supervises laborers on a jobsite or warehouse location when needed. Experience: • 1 year or more related experience and/or training Work Demands ? Regular and on-time attendance. ? Hours regularly 40 hour per week ? Eventual On-call 24hr rotation ? Must be willing to work over 40hr when required.
