Job Description:
US Heating and Air (USHAC), a Southern HVAC Company, is a one stop shop specializing in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and General Construction projects serving Multi Family, Commercial, and Residential customers. We are currently seeking an Electrical Manager to work in our Orlando, FL location. We are looking for a supervisor that can manage and grow one of the key departments in both revenue and profitability. Maintaining and developing customer relations, excellent hiring skills and ongoing training for the department along with positive motivational skills are essential. Development of procedures and goals, in line with the adherence to company policy and mission of the company is expected. A great working relationship with colleagues and other managers, owners and associates with an upbeat team spirit is sought and reciprocated. Duties Include: Supervise and develop the staff, which includes hiring, terminating and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling employees, evaluating performance and directing work assignments to ensure effective use of resources and customer satisfaction. Evaluates work load and schedules work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits. Assist the dispatching operation to ensure appropriate technician selection for type of service. Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs. Generates reports and measures of departmental operations as well as records all inventory, tools and vehicles and reviews reports with management. Instructs technicians on proper use of materials and quality workmanship. Reviews payroll records to ensure that technicians are paid properly. Maintain ongoing training of Technicians. Customer escalation issues/satisfaction. Ensure company goals are met monthly. Ensure Service Level Agreements are managed and kept above the acceptable level as set by the General Manager/CEO. Delivery of goals and metrics for assigned group. Ensure all process and procedures are followed. Identify and communicate where improvements can be utilized. Quality assurance on all work performed at customer facilities. New team member and new local customer on-boarding. Ensures that employees have proper tools for the job and that they are properly maintained. Monitors preventive maintenance of vehicles to ensure proper operation. Evaluates staff to determine training requirements. Provides on-the-job training and support to employees. Oversees facility and equipment maintenance, ensuring that assets are protected and controlled. Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area. Observes all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties. The Electrical Supervisor candidate must be able to pass a drug test, and have a good driving record. Qualifications Minimum education H. S. diploma or G.E.D. Minimum 3 years of experience performing at a management level for an electrical service and business or related services company. Commercial and residential experience required Excellent management and supervisory skills Understanding of the principles of quality management with respect to effective communication Experience with management and conflict resolution Level personality with a drive for success Ability to focus on desired results Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines Ability to adapt to very fast-paced environment and deadlines Strong attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral Deliver high level of customer service on a consistent basis Ability to motivate a team and achieve buy-in on company initiative Southern HVAC is a premier service company providing air conditioning and heating repair service, HVAC sales and maintenance service.
