Job Description:
Project Management Responsibilities • Direct and manage retrofit projects from beginning to end * Includes the following ? Getting with account managers for site walk through ? Plan and schedule project timelines ? Pulling any necessary permits in a timely manner ? Gathering all necessary submittals as required ? Manage employees effectively and safely ? Be a “Solution Provider” when problems arise and consult with Account Manager • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project and/or team ? Inspect job sites on regular basis for project compliance, workmanship, safety & productivity ? Manage job all cost and review job costs reports ? Close out documents as required – (including O & M manuals) ? Consistently have a positive attitude about every situation • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion o Give “Scope of Work” or daily/weekly expectations IN WRITING or e-mail • Determine resources and participants needed to achieve project completion goals • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members – taking nothing for granted • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel - designate a “Lead” on every job • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned tasks • Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the current project and future projects • Conduct project closeout meetings and identify and report any deficiencies in successful completion of projects • Maintain accurate records of time, materials and costs for each job • Coordinate directly with customers on scheduling projects and customer service issues • Work with vendors to schedule and coordinate deliveries of equipment to jobsite • Coordinate project schedule with subcontractors * Follow up in advance for the week of the work to ensure everything in on schedule-people forget • Follow-up on any/all warranty work and maintain contact with customer to insure 100% Customer satisfaction
