This position will be responsible for building brand awareness through the design and development of the company’s marketing presence. The successful candidate will have proven competencies in design principles, marketing services, brand development, social marketing, and related computer software programs. What this position means: • Raising the quality and effectiveness of everyone's visual creative work as though it were your own. • Multi-channel brand building, developing and delivering a multiplicity of traditional and digital marketing tactical experiences. • Practicing a strong leadership style, from concept collaboration through presentation management. • Strategic Visual Oversight of assignment work to ensure people are progressing in a positive direction. • Accountability for production quality and efficiencies, holding teams and vendors accountable to the highest standards at all times • Develop a strong Marketing and Creative presence • Lead and develop the creative strategy to create a wide-array of deliverables including packaging, catalogs, brochures, banner ads, e-newsletters, and presentations. • Manage the creative process from concept to completion • Meet with upper management and staff to explain campaign strategies and solutions • Create custom illustrations or other graphic elements as needed with innovative ideas • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; recommending changes to art, copy writing, and production departments. • Design and/or lead all photography and videography, artwork and graphics associated with the brand and be the owner of brand consistency, look and feel. Next Level Skills: • Creativity : Seeking strong creative background with an out of the box personality never become paralyzed by time or budget that might restrict creative process which can include project design, copywriting, or art illustrations. • Fearlessness : Fully commit to their strong ideas and provide feedback when necessary • Leadership : By assuming the role of Director, you need to be able to lead and inspire the members of your creative team. • Flexibility : Must possess the ability to multi task on various projects • Communication : Lead and develop the creative marketing team, while working with the sales team • Technological Savviness : As the business world comes to rely on technology more and more, technical fluency is highly valued. • Innovative : Work with the sales team to develop new and fresh creative content for our customers Qualifications: (1) Organizational Leadership • Team building. • Planning and development • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar role. • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design. • Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (2) Communications and Marketing Services • Design, manage, and promote printed marketing materials. • Responsible for creating and delivering marketing ideas, concepts, and materials (3) Software/Computer • WordPress, Adobe: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premier Pro, After Effects • Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. • Familiarity with Mac and Windows OS Platforms. (4) Graphic Design • Print, layout, packaging design, logo & identity design, typography, and photography.
