Job Description:
Blue Dot, Maryland's nieghborhood HVAC specialists for over 40 years is looking for a HVAC Sales Manager to join our growing team! In this position you will create, monitor, evaluate and implement strategy to maintain and improve the Company’s sales volume and penetration in the assigned geographic area. This position is responsible for sales volume, expense control, market share and achievement of sales goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES ? Develops sales and marketing plans by preparing objectives, strategies, and profit and loss projections. ? Assures the successful launch of new segments and new channels by assuming responsibility for planning, promoting and introduction. Resolves channel conflicts. ? Assists in the preparation of Service Center annual budgets to support the sales and marketing functions related to residential plumbing, HVAC and other lines of business. Evaluates competitors’ services, determining market share and market trends and informs others by maintaining and distributing competitive comparisons and evaluations. ? Monitors and tracks sales statistics and performance. Develops and implements sales process improvement initiatives. ? Assists management planning by contributing performance data through written reports and presentations. ? Develops a knowledgeable sales force in service lines by conducting and overseeing technical and business related in-house training. ? Analyzes sales incentive programs and provides direction for modification, as needed. ? Assists in marketing services by arranging for and participating in key exhibits, specialty shows and field sales calls. ? Facilitates coordination of sales activity by acting as liaison to other departments and functions. MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5 years of sales experience required. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related discipline is desired. Strong written and verbal communications/selling skills are required.
