Job Description:
This person will report directly to the Lead Service Coordinator. They will work closely with the Service Coordinators, and the Service Supervisor. • Get copies of work orders from the dispatcher that requires extra work. • Create quotes from those work orders. Purge weekly. • Work up emergency quotes for technicians on location. • Create job folder once approved. Create work ticket in Total Service. • Order parts for jobs. Keep a log of when ordered, vendor, and expected delivery. Purge Weekly. • Expedite parts from vendors. • Inventory filters in trailer at least once per month. • Inventory filters in mezzanine for common sizes at least once per month. Reorder as necessary. • Order truck stock as necessary for field technicians. • Assist in development of a computerized inventory program. • Compare consumption of floor plan vs. what was signed out on clipboard at least once per month. • Compare consumption of refrigerant vs. clipboard at least once per month. • Assist technicians with getting wiring diagrams and/or product manuals. • Receive deliveries of back area and parts UPS. Mark all shipments that come in with Job name, number, and box # 1 of XXX. Verify proper parts! • Keep back deliver and parts area neat and organized. • Assist in grounds/building issues as required. • Keep a detailed task list up to date. • Be responsible for warranty parts return. Keep a log of parts returned, and check with accounting to see if credit has been issued. • Manage the reclaim return program. • Be responsible for vehicle turnover. Create a checklist of what needs to be done when vehicles turn over. • Bring paperwork issues to Service Supervisor. Qualifications • Computer literate. • Needs to know HVACR parts. • Ability to work with techs (understand where they’re coming from). • Detail oriented (quotes, ordering material). • Dependable (shows up to work, work extra hours when necessary). • Ability to drive a company vehicle. • Ability to lift 100#.
