Job Description:
HVAC Service Manager A rapidly growing telecommunications, construction, installation and maintenance organization has an HVAC Service Manager opening in our Managed Services division. Become part of a team dedicated to safe, quality wireless installation work. We are looking for a highly motivated and hardworking individual to join a fast growing company specializing in wireless communications installations across the country. The HVAC Service Manager will be responsible for 10+ employees and oversee all services and repairs. Responsibilities: • Part of a Service Team responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the service operations group. • Directly manages Service Technicians. Including but not limited to aiding in the training of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. • Provide customer service support, as necessary; respond to customer inquiries and problems in a timely manner; resolve excessive consumption problems • Review service tickets daily to assure customer was charged correct prices, parts were ordered, paperwork was filled out completely & correct and technician accomplished tasks in a profitable manner. • Strategize with team to coordinate and optimize internal personnel, Primes/clients, client interface and deliverables • Evaluate team’s strengths and weaknesses, interfacing with other internal managers to determine appropriate courses of action to organize and manage the most productive and efficient team. • Embrace strong work ethics personally and throughout company and client teams. Strong communication, relationship building and organizational skills • Attention to detail - Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task • Problem Solving – Identify root causes of problems and implement solutions Required Qualifications: • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a hands-on role in HVAC industry. • At least 2 years of previous direct management experience in HVAC service or a related industry • High school diploma • Technical or business school degree or certificate. • Excellent communication and computer skills • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background test and drug screen • Ability to work 8AM to 5PM, some Saturdays required
