Job Description:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The HVAC Assembly Technician is responsible for ensuring that the systems are built per engineering drawings, workmanship documentation, quality procedures, customer specifications and engineering direction. PRIMARY FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • The HVAC Assembly Technician will work closely with other assemblers, lead mechanical tech, engineers and designers in manufacturing Horstman products. • This person will braze and assemble products, read mechanical & electrical schematics and fabricate systems according to requirements specified by engineering (see skills, education, experience below) • Follow established quality procedures regarding workmanship, process certification and safety regulations. • Observe and maintain sequence of assembly within or below the established budgeted labor hours for each task assigned. • Insure required work order documentation is complete and correct. • Testing of completed units according to customer specifications to company procedures. • Other duties as assigned by management
