This position is responsible for serving a sales support office by executing account management and demand creation activities to promote long term customer relationships in support of the local Daikin Representative and Distributor and their own defined customer base. If you meet the qualifications listed below, then we invite you to apply for our open position by visiting our website at www.careersatgoodmanmfg.com - Partner with local Daikin Representative and local Daikin North America Independent Distributors to establish a short and midterm business plan for the responsible geography. - Plan to include VRV share growth, Daikin representative growth, segment and vertical market focus, product mix and value based strategies. - Lead sales partners (reps and distributors) to ensure sales activities are sufficient to grow pipeline, design build business, opportunity management and contractor development effectively utilizing the CRM, Dashboard and Pipeline Management tool set. - Develop relationship with Sales partners to ensure achieving Daikin’s objectives in the market. - Educate architects, engineers, contractors and other relevant partners on the value proposition of VRV and Daikin through coordinated support of sales partners. - Determine product needs of the market place and work closely with Daikin product marketing and key leadership personnel to establish or update product plan that serves local market requirements. - Provides market and competitor intelligence through data collection from sales team and detailed territory analysis. Education: BS in engineering preferred. •Able to passionately accept the challenge of new technology introduction and demand creation •3 years + sales or engineering experience in a commercial HVAC sales environment. •Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC products and services, customers, decision makers, sales processes and market trends. •Outstanding consultative selling and interpersonal skills. •Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. •Ability to prioritize and function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
