Job Description:
Description: Hawks & Company is the leading commercial and industrial HVAC & Energy Services Company. Servicing the tri-state area for over 35 years, we specialize in planned HVAC maintenance, service retrofits, and design/build retrofit HVAC projects. Position available for experienced Service Manager in Commercial HVAC to implement and enforce standards of excellence by executing key objectives around performance, safety, and profitability. • Direct management of 16 field techs, and 3 CSR’s. • Manage CSR/Dispatch functions and oversee overall schedule for planned maintenance and quoted work to ensure timeline to complete remains on target. • Develop and deliver estimates and proposals for quoted work and service agreements. • Manage the service agreement renewal process. • Responsible for ensuring profitable execution of all maintenance agreements and quoted work. Review profitability on a monthly basis with team. • Develop meeting rhythms for the service department to insure best-in-class communication. • Identify/resolve any customer issues, identify and communicate any manpower needs. • Develop client relationships to maintain our “touch-points” for each customer. • Work closely with field technicians to promote safety initiatives, quality control, and training to ensure safety protocols are implemented and enforced. • Develop Key Performance Indicators and conduct regular performance appraisals for team, communicate desired outcomes, and provide feedback for ongoing growth and development. Requirements: • 3-5 years’ Management experience, preferable in Service Management in HVAC or similar industry • Good computer skills in MS Office, database management, and familiar with financial reporting • Proven track record of successful management and ownership of service department • Practice high level of confidentiality • Exceptional communication and service skills Must maintain clean driving record. Drug testing, background check, and motor vehicle checks are performed.
