Job Description:
Service Technician The Service Technician must be able to effectively work with customers, vendors and the company staff. The Service Technician is normally the first personal point of contact with customers and therefore must display a positive image of the company. The Service Technician must be cleanly dressed in a professional manner. The Service Technician is responsible for completing all assigned service work and/or installation work per their position assignment. This includes handling after hours and weekend work. Dress Code: • Company uniform • Conservative professional look • Must comply with the company Grooming Protocol Grooming Requirements: • Must comply with company grooming standards Vehicle Requirements • Must maintain a minimum of a score of 85 on all inspections and must not have noticeable outside dirt or inside trash Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb, work at heights, lift, crawl on hands and knees, work with small items and work in high heat areas (attics). Service Duties • Run all scheduled service & maintenance calls on time. • Attend all company meetings. • Maintain the highest customer service standards possible. • Schedule installations with the Operations Manager. • Complete all internal company forms. • Maintain grooming and vehicle standards. • Track and maintain personal sales lead information. • Maintain a clean driving record. Training • Complete a minimum of 12 hours of technical training yearly. • Complete a minimum of 1 sales training program yearly. • Competently present a sales presentation to General Manager quarterly. • Maintain NATE certification in at least Heat Pump Service Schedule • Regular Schedule Be prepared to run calls on the following schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Saturday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) • Weekend duty One technician will be on call on a rotating basis. When on call the technician must be prepared to run calls on the following schedule: Monday – Sunday 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
