Job Description:
HVAC Service/Sales Manager We are seeking a HVAC Service Manager to manage, hire, coach, train and retain our heating and cooling service technicians and work closely with our comfort consultants, install manager and installation departments at our Harleysville location. We are seeking someone who is goal oriented, self-motivated, and has demonstrated great leadership, communication and people skills. You must have the following minimum requirements: • Dynamic, positive, organized, flexible, team oriented person who can lead by example • 10+ years’ experience in the residential heating and cooling business (not commercial) • 2+ years’ experience as a department manager or field supervisor • Technical skills of the trade (trouble shooting, repair and replacement skills) • Operational understanding of logistical concepts in the HVAC business • Have the ability to handle customer concerns quickly and efficiently • Be able to start early and work late and weekends if necessary • Valid driver’s license - No DUI/DWI’s in the past (5) years • Pass a substance test and background check - Have a drug free life style • Have the ability to travel at least twice a year for training • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Direct Responsibilities: The HVAC Service Manager will start the position by managing 12+ employees, $2 million dollars in sales revenue, and be responsible for overseeing our heating and cooling service technicians and working closely with our comfort consultants, install manager, install coordinators and installers. You will handle customer needs and concerns. Facilitate the training and department meetings. Coach, track and inspire service technicians to be the very best they can be every day. EQ Skills: You must be able to control your emotions under difficult situations and deal with stress in a healthy way. Have a servant’s heart toward your coworkers. Also be a role model for your family and model citizen in your community. Be a strong leader and yet be humble. Great managers have the ability to hold two emotions at the same time and use the proper reflex for the greater good of all involved. Compensation: Bi-weekly salary plus monthly incentive bonus, positive work environment, full family health plan, cell phone, 401k retirement plan, uniforms and company vehicle.
