Job Description:
We are looking for leader with a passion for success to assume the role of Service Manager. This position has overall responsibility for management of our residential , new construction , and light commercial service department for premier home comfort provider in the greater Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Beaufort area. This exceptional manager will provide leadership to a dedicated group of residential/ light commercial HVAC service professionals. The successful candidate will be able to, multi-task, thrive in a dynamic environment, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. The position requires previous experience in service management, high performance standards, and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Requirements: 1. Provides leadership and direction for residential/light commercial HVAC service techs. 2. Manages the division for consistent revenue growth and predictable profitability. 3. Set a positive example to employees to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions in the shop or on jobsites or violations of company safety policy. 4. Assures that service technicians perform their tasks in an effective and professional manner. 5. Collaborates with other department leaders to develop efficient operational procedures and policies. 6. Demonstrate superior critical thinking and problem solving skills. 7. Must be able to wring diagrams and equipment specifications. 8. Manages the workflow to ensure we are meeting deadlines while minimizing return trips and/or change orders. 9. Implement and maintain the highest level of customer service in the industry. 10. Oversee efficient purchasing and acquisition of equipment, parts and supplies to support the field service team.
