Job Description:
Required Qualifications: • Valid Texas DL • Must Pass Background Check • Must Pass Drug Screen • Able to lift 50 pounds • 3-5 years of experience in the industry • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • HVAC Trade School Certification a plus Daily Duties: • Repair heating, ventilation and cooling units for both residential and light commercial systems. • Diagnoses of and repair of electronic, mechanical components of these systems • Diagnose diverse service issues, explain repairs to customer for approval and replacement, and calibrate system to manufactures recommendations. • Understand company pricing and generate appropriate customer invoice at job site. Electronically process credit card payments. Obtain signature of customer upon completion of work. • Travel to calls in service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are communicated to customers. • Document all equipment upon arrival, make, model, and serial number, type of refrigerant and pictures as necessary. • Document and report time sheet to timekeeping daily • Maintain good working order of company vehicle and reporting any issues timely. • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle. • Be a Team player. • Be available to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis. • Participate in company provided training opportunities.
