Job Description:
The Service Manager / Lead Technician must be able to effectively work with customers, vendors and the company staff. The Service Manager may be the first point of contact with customers and handle customer complaints and therefore must display a positive image of the company. The Service Manager / Lead Technician serves as technical support and quality assurance of all field personnel. The position must therefore be able to effectively work with both the installation group and the service group. Field Responsibilities: • Handle service and customer complaints pertaining to installation or service • Provide technical assistance to the install and service staff • Ensure quality work is completed in the field - completing quality surveys of all change outs and at least every third new construction home • Train install and service technicians as assigned • Occasionally manage commercial jobs as assigned • Assist in the field as necessary – including performing install work, running service calls and taking after hours calls as required
