Job Description:
Service manager will be in charge of the service department and report to the general manager. Essential functions: Perform duties required in a timely manner. Focus on making client satisfaction the highest priority. Insure the service department is meeting it's financial goals. Communicate with the general manager on the service departments operation and challenges. Position Responsibilities: Oversee the service technicians and the dispatcher. Be responsible for managing department day to day activities. Make customer requested bids for repairs. Perform service technician performance reviews Evaluate technician abilities and training needed. Find sources of training and perform weekly training with technicians. Work closely with dispatcher to insure proper prioritization of service calls. Monitor dispatch board to insure outstanding work orders are being resolved. Standards of performance: Arrives at work ready to begin the days work. Know the companies commitments. Demonstrate a high level of commitment to the companies mission and vision. Maintains department profit margin goals. Operates department within budget.
