Company Description: A very well established and respected provider of residential, commercial, institutional and industrial HVAC mechanical and building automation solutions seeks a HVAC Service Technician in Litchfield and Fairfield Counties, CT. This company has been providing exceptional service and construction solutions to the region for almost 40 years. This is an excellent company to have a career with. Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to: Perform on a professional level, all scheduled maintenance and testing to equipment on the contract equipment list Provide service and scheduled maintenance to unitary air conditioning systems, chillers, burners Operate various measuring and testing equipment required to perform scheduled maintenance and related testing Record and report to commercial maintenance dispatcher any possible repairs or further diagnostics needed Legibly complete all required check sheets, transfers, time cards, recording of parts used, and paper work necessary to complete a maintenance service Work in a safe manner and maintain all efforts with respect to safety and protection to self, personnel, and all customer and company property Remain in contact with commercial dispatch manager and service field manager for information and/or schedule changes Maintain and use company vehicle per all company policies and standards. This includes appearance and maintenance to the inside and outside of the vehicle Follow the directions of the service field manager Create a positive climate with the client, provide and generate customer satisfaction Follow and comply with the rules and regulations and occupational safety regulations mandated by federal, state and local governments Location working out of: Home Territory Covered: Litchfield & Fairfield Counties, CT and Putnam County, NY if they have Putnam County Qualifications: Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet all required physical ability, efforts, and exertions to perform job duties CT License holders with type; S,D or B licenses preferred Possess or secure an EPA refrigerant certificate within company guidelines Experience with unitary air conditioning systems, air cooled chillers, Power Flame and Riello burners Ability to work in outdoor weather and temperature extremes designated by company policy Refrigerant Certification and any/all other occupational licenses required to legally performing trade duties Minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC Commercial Industry High School Diploma/GED Trade school certification Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems
