Other Licenses & Certifications: Essential Personnel: Provides assistance in the event of an emergency on campus including: pre-storm preparation, clean-up, tie-down or storage of potential flying debris in the path of a hurricane; post-storm clean-up and replacement of stored goods to ready campus for operation after a storm, or other services as assigned by Director or Assistant Director. May be required to assist in manning emergency shelter or critical building during hurricane or other emergencies. EPA refrigerant usage certification. Working Hours: a) Daily Monday - Friday. b) Total hours per week 40, generally 8 hours per day for a 5 day work week. c) The chiller plant will be staffed 18 hours a day. Second shifts split between 5:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Requires 24 hour availability. Shifts may rotate. On-Call status may be required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform a variety of tasks with minimal supervision and operate Trane or Johnson's Control Energy Management System, large chillers, ice storage, large towers, and other related equipment. Knowledge of and ability to perform building maintenance (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, painting) and general maintenance.
