Job Description:
ommercial HVAC Service Technician
John Payne Company is looking to hire a Service Technician to join our growing company. We are a Commercial Mechanical Contractor located in Tucker, GA working all around the metro Atlanta area. We specialize in new construction of grocery stores, retail shopping centers, medical office buildings and distribution centers/warehouses. A majority of our are projects contain new packaged roof top units. We also install & service ductless splits, VRF systems and DX split systems. Company vehicle and gas card provided. Qualifications:
- EPA Certification strongly encouraged, technical school graduate is a plus
- Applicant needs to have a working knowledge of HVAC equipment parts/components
- Must be able to reclaim/recover refrigerant, check pressures, pull vacuums and add refrigerant (split systems and RTU's)
- Experience with RTU start-up, checking rotation, etc.
-Experience needed with equipment troubleshooting and repair on different types and brands of equipment
- Ability to braze line sets, install refrigerate piping & run condensate lines
- Must have knowledge/experience working with low voltage controls, (thermostats, sensors, smoke detectors, equipment control boards, etc). Must be able to read wiring diagrams.
