Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Refrigeration and HVAC Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional remote technical support to local vendor technicians and keeping customers informed about repair statuses. Your main focus will be on addressing inquiries related to refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control circuits. As an essential part of our team, you will be required to participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation approximately one week per month. Key Responsibilities: • Provide top-notch customer service by promptly responding to inquiries from local vendor technicians and customers via phone and email • Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control circuit issues, providing guidance to local technicians • Keep customers informed on the status of their repair, ensuring a high level of satisfaction • Maintain clear and concise communication with both technicians and customers, ensuring their concerns are fully addressed • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices • Participate in 24-hour on-call rotation, approximately one week per month Requirements: • Basic understanding of refrigeration and HVAC systems, along with control circuits • Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation Benefits: • Medical and Dental insurance (eligible on the first day of the month following hire) • Participation in our 401K/Roth retirement savings plan (eligible on the first of the month following 90 days of employment) NWR matches dollar for dollar your contributions up to 4% of your salary annual. • 7 paid holidays • 5 days of paid sick time • 80hrs vacation per year If you are a proactive individual with a passion for customer service and strong technical knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems, we encourage you to apply for this position.
