Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician THE COMPANY: Come join our team! HVAC/R Service Technician Typical Work Hours: Typical hours 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, additional hours as necessary. What do we offer? Benefits: $80k-$120k Benefit Packages based on experience Medical/Prescription Drug Insurance Dental Vision 401K 2 Weeks PTO and Paid Holidays Service Truck Company Phone Uniforms Tool Loans Continuing Education $100 Reimbursement Fee Towards Work Boots Each Year Responsibilities: The job of an HVAC/R Service Technician was established for the purpose/s of providing HVAC services with specific responsibility for identifying repair and/or replacement needs; installing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading HVAC systems and equipment; assisting other skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available at the job site. HVAC/R Service Technician Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 2 years of documentable HVAC operations, maintenance and repair experience in the HVAC trade Graduate of an HVAC technical institute or school Work cooperatively with others. Work independently with little direction. Valid driver's license, w/clear record. Must be able to climb ladders Be able to competently handle a large vehicle (such as a van) including parking and backing up in tight spaces. Must be able to endure walking, squatting, bending, balancing, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and prolonged standing. Basic record-keeping techniques. We utilize mobile devices instead of paper tickets. Utilize critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and exercises good judgment when completing tasks in an efficient, correct, and productive manner. Learn and understand time constraints associated with specific repairs within time guide standards. Ability to learn multiple sizes and types of systems Good appearance, organizational skills, and detailed oriented Hands-on knowledge of one or more of the following: HVAC systems (1-50 Tons) Commercial Refrigeration Boilers (gas and oil-fired) Electrical Troubleshooting Digital Controls Flexibility to work overtime/weekends/holidays, as necessary Interact with clients to ensure satisfaction and to request referrals HVAC/R Service Technician other Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities: Follow instructions from Supervisor and complete in a timely manner Site preparation & clean up Must own personal hand tools, meters, and gauges on the day of employment Maintain vehicle clean and job site Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times Work as a professional with clients, co-workers, and subcontractors Maintain regular attendance and willingness to work OT Adhere to and promote the Company Core Values WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to work in all types of climates including extreme hot and cold temperatures.
