Job Description:
JOIN THE TEAM! Our Company is growing its HVAC Service Team. This job services our commercial and residential customers. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues regarding HVAC installations, start-ups, and service. Ideal candidates must be proficient working as a HVAC Technician, Service Technician, HVAC Installer, HVAC/R Technician, Air Conditioning Technician, Boiler and Gas Heating. RESPONSIBILITIES: Works on HVAC systems including but not limited to: package air conditioners, split systems, DX systems, glycol, controls, etc. Performs standard preventative maintenance duties on all HVAC and High Efficiency Boiler Equipment. Troubleshoots and diagnose problems, change out compressors, failed parts, etc. on all A/C equipment. Has experience in soldering, brazing refrigerant lines, water lines, etc. Communicates daily with dispatcher and technicians on reporting job by job information about equipment ID, completed jobs, problems encountered, assistance needed with repairs. Understands technical schematics and control circuits. Interfaces with the customer on a professional basis and presents our company in a positive light. Properly handles refrigerant, reclaimer, vacuum pump and other essential tools. Follows industry standard safety practices including knowledge of MSDS, tool safety, equipment safety and ladder safety guidelines. Properly operates and maintains Company Vehicle and learn how to maintain a truck inventory. Establish relationships with other technicians to learn from them to be able to troubleshoot customer tickets Satisfactorily completes necessary training classes as required REQUIREMENTS: • One-year certificate from trade school; and some related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience would be beneficial but not required. • Experience with boiler repairs and gas heating required! • Basic in computer skills, experience in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. • Valid driver's license • Excellent customer service skills • Perform overtime duties when required • Salary is negotiable depending upon experience. • Medical, dental and Retirement benefits offered.
