Job Description:
Maintenance Technician seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our team in the Charlotte, NC area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assembly, build, re- fab and modify a wide range of electrical/mechanical equipment. Key Responsibilities: • Perform work with a minimal amount of supervision assemble, build, re-furbish and modify a wide range of electrical/mechanical equipment. • Able to read production lists (parts list), assembly drawings, schematics, wire run lists, engineering folders, production notes and specifications to determine established assembly methods. • Aligns, fits, and assembles component parts and or assemblies into completed units, using hand tools, power tools, and various documents such as production lists, assembly drawings, and lists. • Maintain a safe working environment on and around the production floor. • Assist in the assembly of prototype and production work • Keep the Production Manager apprised of any condition that is not within standards. • Periodically on call and able to work overtime • Perform other duties and responsibilities when required. Key Qualifications and Skills: • 2+ years’ assembly experience in the electronics industry or a manufacturing environment. • Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills • Must have valid driver’s license • Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check • Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in English. • Able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. • Must have good manual dexterity with small parts and hand tools. • Familiarity with the practice of safe work skills in a manufacturing environment. • Physically able to perform repetitive motion and stand for periods of time
