Job Description:
G Mechanical Inc. is a Mechanical / Industrial HVAC/R contractor that is growing and becoming a fixture in the Columbus Metropolitan Area. We are going into our 20th year of business and we are looking for experienced, professional Service Technicians that want the stability of a large company but yet knows what family and personal time means. Please remit resumes to hiring@gmechanical.com or contact Sean at 614.844.6750. • Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of HVAC/R units, including VRF / VRV, VAV’s, chillers, cooling towers and boilers. Make the necessary adjustments or repairs as necessary. • Troubleshoot, repair, or replace defective parts in units and equipment including compressors, receivers, condensers, pumps, valves, and cap tubes. Heat exchangers, high limit controls, gas valves, pressure switches and safeties. Along with their controls, including thermostats, automatic switches, fan controls, damper motors, relays and BMS controls. • Possession and knowledge of how to operate and maintain all tools required to do the job. • Operate specialized machinery, equipment and tools utilized in the repair, installation and maintenance of HVAC/R. • Work with chemicals, power tools, climb ladders, lift medium weight objects, work from heights, bending, stooping, crawling. All in any climate. Hot, Cold, Rain, Snow, Etc. • Maintain records concerning time, labor, materials and write reports as required. • Understand and follow oral and written directions. • Have good communication skills; both oral and in writing. • Work independently and cooperatively with others; with little direction. • Meet schedules and time lines. • Ability to lead by example. • Valid driver's license.
