Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician to efficiently diagnose and repair commercial HVAC/R systems while providing exceptional customer service. You will diagnose, repair, service, maintain, and install components for commercial heating and air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities:
• You will be on the front line, directly solving problems for building owners.
• You will methodically diagnose and repair common mechanical problems in a range of equipment types appropriate for your level of experience.
• Install new components in commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
• Oklahoma Journeyman license
• Knowledge of and experience with typical commercial HVAC systems, equipment, applications, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting methods
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of relevant local codes and dedication to compliance
• Demonstrated ability to successfully fulfill the job requirements as summarized above, including the ability to work with industry related tools
• Clear and professional communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in using personal computers required, such as operating in a Microsoft Windows environment and backing up files.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record, be free of any felony convictions, and the ability to pass federal background checks as required to work on secure job sites.
• Capable of safely working in a construction environment, including the ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 pounds without assistance, as well as the ability to kneel, squat, climb ladders, or work at high altitudes or in confined spaces in order to deliver the scope of work.
• Availability to serve customer needs by responding quickly and potentially working overtime, varied shift hours, and out of town when needed. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and a changing work environment throughout a work shift.
